Emmaljunga Double Viking

This is just a quick look at the stunning Emmaljunga Double Viking pushchair.

This is a side by side double and can be used with one or two seats or carrycots parent or world facing. It's also quite narrow at 74 cm wide so will fit through all standard doorways. The seats are very large, they will easily fit 3 year olds. The wheels are amazing, large in size and puncture proof. This pushchair can handle any terrain with ease! The fold is slightly complicated as the seats/carrycots have to be removed and there's buttons and levers to pull to fold but the folded size is quite good for such a big pram. The storage is very good with 2 decent size baskets to use. The handlebar is height adjustable to suit everyone, it's also foam covered and nice to touch. The brake is located in the middle of the rear axle and is easy to apply and take off.

I really think the Double Viking is one of the best side by side double pushchairs available to buy.

DriveNow Launches Alternative
Drive And Dine Experience

Car sharing service, DriveNow, has teamed up with eight independent restaurants in North and North East London to create a Food Safari during November and December.

Throughout the campaign, members will receive discounts of up to 25% off their bill at some of the city’s most popular eateries such as Rudie’s, Clutch and Dukes Brew & Que. just by showing their DriveNow card and posting their experience on social media.

The first member to complete the safari by dining in all eight venues and sharing a snap of each specialty dish will be rewarded with free driving for a year. All participants will not only enjoy discounts on their bill throughout the two months, but they will also be rewarded with free drive time after every visit.

Joseph Seal-Driver, Managing Director of DriveNow UK, commented:

“The DriveNow Food Safari celebrates some of our favourite places to eat in North East London. Our members love the flexibility of being able to jump in a car, drive and drop it at their destination. We all love eating out and now - thanks to our Food Safari - the greedy among us can nip effortlessly between the best restaurants London has to offer in the same day!”

DriveNow is the flexible car sharing service from BMW Group and Sixt SE, operating in London where its members have access to over 300 BMWs and MINIs (including the BMW i3 and MINI convertible) parked in the boroughs of Islington, Hackney, Haringey and Waltham Forest.

 Stokke Xplory V4
- a quick look

Pros:
- very good size seat, will last until 3-4 years easily
- great to push (surprisingly!)
- looks (this may be up for debate, you either love it or you hate it)
- handle adjustable to any height
- seat can also be adjusted lower or higher on the frame to suit the parent or to use as a high chair etc.

Cons:
- harness far too big for a smaller child, buckle strap very long and non adjustable
- smallish canopy
- small wheels and no suspension make it an urban pushchair
- fixed bumper bar
- no shopping basket, there's a shopping bag but it's an odd size and doesn't hold much
- plastic footrest that my child found extremely funny to bang with her feet :)
- no calf rest
- cheap feeling plastics
- very fiddly fold and unfold, requires several steps
- very large and long folded
- even the most needed accessories are very expensive.
