Bumbleride Indie - review

I've been testing the Bumbleride Indie for the past few months and here's my final review of it.

First I must say that out of the 13 pushchairs that we've had here thus far, the Indie is THE BEST and the easiest to push of them all!!!

I will start the review with the cons since there aren't many..
1. The recline. The strap recline, as is usual with this type of mechanism, is a little hard to use when adjusting the seat from flat to upright.
2. No peak-a-boo window. There's a mesh opening on the top of the canopy but you can't see the child through it.
3. Still trying to think of more cons but nothing comes to mind :)

Now for the pros :)
1. The looks. The Indie looks good, doesn't it? It feels at home in the middle of a busy shopping centre/high street and in the middle of a field!
2. The wheels. The Indie rolls on 12 inch air-filled tyres that are by far the best I've seen on a pushchair!
3. The seat. The seat unit is huge and extremely comfortable according to my son. I also love that the seat has an adjustable leg rest. The backrest is very well supported (something that I always look for in a pushchair). The harness is easy to adjust and will suit a small baby just as well as an older toddler.
4. The canopy. The hood is large on it's own but it can be moved even further forward to shade the child in the summer.
5. The shopping basket. By far the biggest I've seen on an off-roader and very easy to access (not easy enough for things to fall out though!).
6. The handlebar. The handlebar is adjustable and can be locked in 1 of 5 positions to suit parents of all heights. What I particularly like about the handlebar is its shape - it's very ergonomic. The foam it's made of is very durable and has a nice feel to it.
7. The fold. The Indie folds very easily and to a really compact size!
8. The weight. The Indie weighs an incredible 9kg! That's very light for a full size pushchair! At the same time the Indie remains very sturdy. Unlike other 3-wheelers I've never had to stop the Indie from tipping sideways on a slope!
9. The cup holder. Yes, I know it's sad but I do love a good cup holder and I like it even more when it's included with the pushchair!
10. It comes in a double! Check out the amazing Bumbleride Indie Twin - it's double the fun!

I stumbled upon this lovely stand at the end of my visit and immediately fell in love with the beanie hats. This small company originated in my home country and is quickly becoming popular abroad.

I had to share these with you!

I'm hoping to see these gorgeous beanie hats in stores soon.

I'd like to thank Beth Cooper PR for letting me attend the Baby Show!
